What is a LifeBox?

It is little more than a plastic crate. But with your help we can fill it with the essential items that enable people who have lost everything to start putting their lives and homes back together; contents include: clothes, shoes, blankets, utensils, tools, toiletries and water purification devices.

So how does the scheme work?

• A donation of £250 will enable us to fill a LifeBox. Smaller donations are welcomed
• Your donations allow a box to be filled on your behalf and with a full donation the box would also bear your name
• We operate from a dedicated modern warehouse facility to fill and provide immediate despatch
• We have consulted various aid agencies to revise and update the contents of LifeBox and among the new contents will be LifeStraws to enable quick access to safe and drinkable water

Since we fill the box on your behalf we can ensure:

• Consistency of box content quality
• A more rapid response to disasters
• Improvement of our box stock levels facilitating smooth operations
• Quicker despatch to disaster areas
• The ability to make boxes more appropriate to different disaster situations
